Making Icons Using Alpha Converted Vector Groups

For years, I always created icons as a result of using multiple shapes and paths, and combining them using common vector merging tools like union, punch and intersect. In this tutorial, I explain a technique that I find easier to rapidly create icons using groups of shapes with a Convert to Alpha filter.
